Bangalore lass Akshara Gowda, who made her Bollywood debut with Chitkabrey, has bagged a biggie, which could turn out to be a career changer flick for her. The actress has reportedly bagged a Telugu film starring superstar Mahesh Babu.
According to reports, Akshara Gowda has been roped in to play one of the female leads in Mahesh Babu's next film to be directed by Sukumar of Arya fame. It is said that Kingfisher model Angela Jonsson was also considered for the role but in the end it was the Bangalore-based girl, who had the last laugh.
Earlier, the makers of the film had offered the same role to Tamanna Bhatia, but the actress opted out of the film citing date issue. Now, by roping in Akshara Gowda for the movie, they have surprised many, as she is very little-known actress.
However, Akshara Gowda is remembered for her bold act in Chitkabrey. Currently, she is busy with John Abraham's untitled movie.
