The Artist and Hugo have topped the winners list at the 84th Academy Awards with each bagging five prestigious gongs. Jean Dujardin and Meryl Streep have been named the Best Actor and Actress for their wonderful performance in The Artist and The Iron Lady. The Artist has been adjudged as the Best Picture. The movie has turned out to be the big winner at the Oscar Awards 2012 as it has won coveted awards like Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Director along with bagging Best Costume Design and Best Original Score.
Director Martin Scorsese's recent movie Hugo has also bagged five coveted Oscar Awards in the categories like Best Cinematography, Art Direction, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing and Visual Effects. Another movie The Iron Lady has also won two awards like Best Actress and Best Makeup.
