Shriya Saran, who doesn’t have a single project on hand in Tamil, had her debut film in Malayalam hitting the screens in 2010.  The film, which had her pairing opposite Prithviraj, had megastar Mammootty playing Prithvi’s elder brother.  As per the script, thought the brothers were warring with each other, Mammootty goes out of his way to ensure that Prithvi gets Shriya.
She has a few more projects in Telugu and a film each in Malayalam and English (Midnight’s Children) which have been keeping her busy. Shriya’s complaint against Antony with the Nadigar Sangam states that the latter had ‘breached’ blatantly the written agreement signed by both of them vis-à-vis the release of the film’s dubbed version in other languages.
“Though there was a clause not allowing the film to be dubbed into any language and released, Antony has breached it and released it in Tamil.  I want an explanation from him.  I’m also planning to file a case with the Court with a request to ban the film’s release in the dubbed version in any other language,” says Shriya.
