Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who is UNICEF's brand ambassador of polio, has ensured that his granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan gets her vaccine dose on time.
Talking to the PTI, Amitabh said, "The little granddaughter was given a dose of polio two days back in my presence." "We must assure that there are no polio cases for three consecutive years...we have just crossed one year. I feel we still have a long way to go," he further added.
Mr Bachchan also informed that he has been approached by UNICEF to support Save-Girl-Child campaign. The Big B's daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai had given birth to her daughter Aaradhya on November 16, 2011. Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have millions of fans worldwide and the fans would easily believe every word that they utter. Hence, the Bachchans are definitely the best choice for the Save The Girl Child Campaign.
