Blood Money Rides High on Success Mantra

Mahesh Bhatt is happy with Blood Money Collections. Bollywood producers are probably the most foolish people and do not understand the trends and how to make money in the business of film making. This was proved once again this week with the release of Blood Money.
Mahesh Bhatt explains the foolishness of Bollywood producers in a better way. Impressed with the collections of his new release, Mahesh said, “We at Visheh Films believe in keeping our expense in control and make cost-effective films. For Blood Money, we had collaborated with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and they understood our philosophy pretty well.”
Thus to make profits in the business of film making, you have to keep the cost low.
Despite an average performance at the box office, Blood Money has been able to earn profit and make both the producers and the distributors feel happy. Though there have been films released in the recent past, which despite collecting an amount of around Rs 20 crore in the first week, have not been able to impress the analysts, but with a collection of around 9 crore, Blood Money has been appreciated by the trade experts for the collections in the first week.
Mahesh said that apart from being a good film, Blood money was also marketed in a proper manner, which led to the success of the film at the box office.
What is important here is that Blood Money had been written-off by all analysts, who said that the story of the film did not have anything new to offer. And whereas the usual trend is that people avoid a film, which is released a week before a big release, Blood Money has also proved this notion wrong.
Mahesh Bhatt camp doesn’t believe in casting big stars in their movies. Big stars increase the price of the film with the fee they command. Bhatt camp casts good actors and fresh faces with talent.
