Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor bury the Hatchet

Once good friends and co-stars who got along very well to now-turned-enemies Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit have at last decided to let the dead past bury its dead. They have reportedly resolved to set aside their old differences and walk the red carpet for acclaimed film maker Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s show.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra will be completing 30 years in the film industry this year and he plans to celebrate this momentous achievement by showcasing all his movies right from the beginning of his career at theatres all over. His movie ‘Parinda’ starring Anil and Madhuri which went on to become a super-hit is scheduled to be screened at PVR Juhu on the 30th of this month.
Vidhu therefore, went ahead and called up Anil and Madhuri to ask them to be a part of his celebration together. He has successfully managed to convince them and both have agreed to be present for the show.
This calls for a thumbs-up in itself as Anil and Madhuri were at logger heads, even refusing to speak to each other, let alone do shows together since the past one year. This cold-shouldered treatment was because Madhuri apparently backed out of playing Sonam Kapoor’s mom in Anil’s adaptation of the Hollywood film ‘Freaky Friday’.
