There are rumours that Mani ratnam’s Kadal is set around a lover couple who live in a coastal area. The romance and the difficulties the fisherfolk face forms the crux of the film.Meanwhile sources say National-award winner Seenu Ramaswamy’s Neer paravai, under production also shares the same story.
Nandita Das who is returning ot face the camera after taking a break to have a baby, is playing part of Neer paravai.
Speaking at a function in Mumbai, the dusky actress said Neer paravai is about fishermen community. Like how this fisherman gets lost in sea and how they get caught or shot because they cross the border.
