‘I Love NY’ is a romantic comedy where the crossover actress will be case opposite Sunny Deol, while the film also stars Kangana Ranaut and Navin Chowdhry
Tannishtha will be seen dating Sunny Deol in the film while Kangana and Navin are paired opposite each other.
The story pans over a series of events that take place over a night and how they lead to Sunny falling for Kangana instead.
Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, ‘I Love NY’ has been extensively shot in New York and Chicago and Tannishtha will be seen in a western avatar throughout the film.
This isn’t the first time that Tannishtha has been cast opposite a Deol, as she has worked with Abhay Deol in ‘Road, Movie’ which released in 2009.
Apart from upcoming commercial Bollywood break, Tannishtha has also shot for gangster films: ‘BMW’ (Bombay’s Most Wanted) and ‘Monsoon Shootout’. In BMW, she plays a bar singer and will be seen sharing screen space with Javed Jaafferi, who plays a cop. The film also stars Vijay Raaz who plays a gangster and actor Chandan Roy Sanyal plays an informer. In ‘Monsoon Shootout’, which is co-produced by Anurag Kashyap, she plays a gangster’s wife.
