Actress Jyothika hasn’t been seen in front of the camera after she wed one of Kollywood’s leading heroes – Suriya. It was marital bliss for her, so to say as she settled down and is busy with her two children. Meanwhile, Suriya has said that Jyothika still had the desire to act. In a recent interview, he said Jyothika still had the desire to get back to acting and pointed out that it was her decision to stay away from movies. And to a query as to why she was featuring in ads and not films, he said (ad) shoots were done quickly but that wasn’t the case with movies and she (Jyothika) didn’t want to miss out on being with the children.
The ‘Maatraan’ star said his wife will return to acting when she thinks that it is appropriate. Jyothika’s last release was ‘Seetha Kalyanam’ in Malayalam.
