Deepika Padukone’s long locks bag her Rs 5 crore deal

According to a market survey conducted by a coconut hair oil company, the babe topped the list of actors who fit the bill for endorsing a hair care brand.
We have seen Ms Padukone experiment with different hairstyles, but never have we seen her flaunting a cropped hair look. And now when we hear that the babe is extremely particular about maintaining the long length of her silky mane, we think we kinda know the reason behind it.
Considering Deeps is such a hot property in the world of endorsements, we guess the babe knew that she would be approached by a hair care brand sooner or later. And now that she has bagged an ad, we are sure she’s glad that her perseverance has paid off in the end.
Now that Deepika is raking in the moolah, we wonder what her next plan of action is. Whatever she’s up to, we suggest she doesn’t go ahead and shed more kilos, ‘coz the last thing we want to watch is Deepika endorsing a weight-loss pill or a laxative…

Deepika’s online obsession

In her free time, Deepika Padukone likes to go online and check out the comments of her fans on her videos and movie scenes.
A source reveals that Dippy is so obsessed with this that she spends hours checking the feedback from her fans give on her uploaded videos and interviews. While she loves feedback from friends and family, she also feels that they might be biased and hence prefers checking comments of strangers who might actually have a neutral view. A source says, “There are many nasty comments but she laughs it off and takes them in her stride. Deepika wants to better herself as an actor and is a firm believer of constructive criticism.” Attagirl!

Sridevi likes Deepika Padukone the most among the younger lot!

She ruled all hearts with her stunning acting skills and sensual dance moves, if she could do a Kate Nahi Kat Te with sheer elegance, she even managed to bring the fun element in Hawa Hawai. As you must have guessed by now, we are indeed talking of the beauty, Sridevi, who mesmerized all in the 80s.
The diva is now gearing up for a comeback with R Balki’s wife Gauri’s directorial project, English Vinglish. She is quite thrilled with the return and is even glad over the fact that Indian film industry has changed immensely in these years. Sridevi, who once was the numero uno of town, feels that today actors are more drifted towards the content and doesn’t shy away from taking risks, which as per her is a good sign.
When she was asked about her favorite actress among the younger lot, she surprised everyone by voting for the leggy beauty Deepika Padukone, leaving her niece Sonam Kapoor fuming with envy. Praising Deepika, Sridevi said, “I fell in love with Deepika Padukone from her first film Om Shanti Om. It didn’t seem like her debut film. She’s a stunning girl.”
Talking of Sonam Kapoor, her brother-in-law and co-star Anil Kapoor’s daughter, she said that Sonam Kapoor is very pretty and a promising actress. We just wonder if this would stand to be the new matter of conflict between Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor!
Anyway, Sridevi also talked about her appearance on Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate and said that she was highly obliged to be on the sets of the show, which indeed has brought a change.
Well said Sri but we really are worried about your statement concerning Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor!
