The Directors’ Union (TANTIS) will be holding a discussion on the offbeat films on 19th May 2012 at around 5 pm at the Tamil Isai Kalaignargal Sangam in Vadapalani, Chennai.In the first episode of this discussion Vazhakku Enn 18/9 will be discussed. Ace director and actor Bagyaraj will be the chief guest at this event with director Ameer giving the welcome address.
At the special address, writer S Rama Krishnan will elaborate the techniques used to write the story and screen play of Vazhakku Enn 18/9. This will be followed by actress Rohini speaking about the role of women in the film. National award winning editor KL Praveen will address the gathering about the editing methods used while noted directors Vasantha Balan and Ram will talk about the dialogues in Vazhakku Enn 18/9.
Cinematographer GP Krishna will discuss about the 5D camera and the various cinematography techniques used in the making of Vazhakku Enn 18/9.
Director Samuthirakani will host the show and director SP Jananathan will propose the vote of thanks.
