Bollywood Producer/ Director Mahesh Bhatt‘s upcoming movie Jannat 2 starring Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Randeep Hooda has been entrapped in a legal issue after a Mumbai-based writer Kapil Chopra allegedly filed a case against the Bhatts for plagiarism.
According to the industry sources, Kapil Chopra is said to have demanded the credit as a story writer since Jannat 2 is originally his story. It has been reported that Kapil Chopra watched the promos of the film and realised that it was his story and alleged that the characters, plot and the dialogues too are same as that of his script.Kapil Chopra further accused the Bhatts for stealing few scenes from his script in Blood Money and Murder 2. But, the writer had earlier ignored it. Now that the Bhatts have stolen the entire script, Kapil Chopra has decided to pounce on the former by dragging them to the court.
