Madhuri Dixit has clarified that she will not be seen in any intimate scenes in her upcoming film Dedh Ishqiya, because the script of sequel to Ishqiya does not demand anything of those sorts from her.
But Madhuri also accepted the fact that if the script of the film demands anything of those sorts from her she won’t be able to do it because she is not good at it in any way.
Madhuri Dixit said, “If I’m convinced that it’s essential to the script of the film, and I know it will be shot aesthetically, I won’t say no to intimate scenes. Vidya’s scenes were shot so beautifully in Ishqiya. If Dedh Ishqiya absolutely needs something of that sort, I’m game.”
Madhuri added that she knows that Vidya Balan had performed some intimate scenes in Ishqiya and since she is working in the sequel of the film, some people would be expecting something similar in the sequel as well.
This hope increases even further because both Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi, who performed some intimate scenes in Ishqiya, are also in the sequel and would have no objection to such scenes.
Madhuri Dixit said that though Ishqiya was the first film by director Abhishek Chaubey, he looked like an accomplished director and she is looking forward to working with him.
Madhuri Dixit knows that a film does not work only on the basis on intimate scenes. If Dedh Ishqiya is a good film, it will work at the box office.
