Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar are going to star in Pyar Ke Side Effect sequel known as Shaadi Ke Side Effects. The makers of 2006 hit Pyar Ke Side Effects are planning a sequel of the film and this one will be named Shaadi Ke Side Effects. If sources close to the makers of the sequel are to be believed, the new film will not feature either Mallika Sherawat or Rahul Bose, who featured in the first film and will have a new pair of Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar in the lead roles.
The producer of the film Pritish Nandy said, “The sequel will be funny, clever, wild film, potraying love, before and after marriage. I have spoken to both Vidya and Farhan and both of them have liked the story of the film.”
Farhan Akhtar while confirming that he is doing Shaadi Ke Side Effects, said that he is very excited about the film. It seems Farhan Akhtar, who despite giving a hit like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, is still seen as one of the best director from Bollywood and not a huge star, hopes that working with one of the hot actresses of the day will help his acting career as well. He added, “I haven’t done a romantic comedy as yet. This should be fun.”
Vidya Balan on the other hand is very excited about working with Saket Choudhary, who will be directing the film. She added, “I had seen Pyar Ke Side Effects and loved it. Going by the story, Shaadi Ke Side Effects should be equally good.”
Pyar Ke Side effect was loved by audiences and they appreciated the work of Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose. This will be the first time the pair of Vidya and Farhan Akhtar will be seen on screen. Let’s see how it works.
