It is not new for Anushka to do fight sequences. She was seen doing some great stunt scenes in Billa, Arundathee and Panchamukee. The actress had learnt martial arts for these scenes. Now, she is learning Kung-fu and Karate for another film. This time it is for a Tamil film Irandam Ulagam, which is directed by Selvaraghavan.Some experts have been specially appointed to train the actress in these forms of martial arts, say sources.
We can expect the lady to let the silver screens on fire with some gravity defying stunts in Irandam Ulagam for sure.

Anushka the dusky beauty was heard saying that everyone should learn how to take failure in ones stride. It is normal for people to get depressed due to failure and a few shortcomings, but Anushka dares to be different.

Anushka has been roped in as the new brand ambassador of the toothpaste brand Colgate. Trisha’s contract with Colgate came to an end recently and Anushka was approached with a huge sum to take up the role.Since it is prestigious to be associated with the toothpaste major, Anushka immediately agreed to sign the contract. Along with Anushka, Tollywood star Allu Arjun has also been roped in as the brand ambassador of Colgate.
Selvaraghavan permits Anushka
Anushka and Prabhas’ starrer Vaaradhi is now progressing at the Saradhi Studios in Hyderabad. Richa Gangopadhyay also plays an important role in this film.Sources say that Anushka had allotted her dates for the Selvaraghavan directed Irandam Ulagam but with the director away to scout for locations in the US, she had the opportunity to join the Vaaradhi unit. Sources say that Selva has permitted Anushka to use the call sheet she had allotted to him.
Anushka vs Nayantara
The film is buzzing with news about Nayantara and Anushka are in the race to play Rani Rudramma in the film to be directed by Gunasekhar. The director, however, has said that he has not finalized anyone for the role yet and would make an announcement only after he has the leading lady sign the dotted lines.Industry pundits opine that Anushka or Nayantara would be very apt to play the title role. Everything will fall into place only after the groundwork is done with, said Gunasekhar.
Anushka has a couple of Tamil assignments in her kitty and Nayan is looking to make a comeback, it may be mentioned here.
