Actor-turned-producer John Abraham, who is busy with the promotion of his first home production Vicky Donor, has been sentenced to 15 days jail for rash driving. The Mumbai Sessions Court has today rejected his bail plea against the verdict of the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate Court. John Abraham had injured two pedestrians while riding his motorbike in Khar Danda area, Mumbai in 2006. The Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate Court had sentenced him to 15 days imprisonment on the charges of rash and negligent driving in October 2010. The actor had filed a plea against the judgment.
Today, the Mumbai Sessions Court heard the trial of his bail case. In its judgment, the court rejected his bail plea and upheld the decision given by the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate Court in 2010. Now, it should be seen whether John Abraham would move high court for justice.
