Khushboo has placed in record her admiration for Anushka, stating that the ‘Singam’ actress is a symbol of dedication and simplicity. “It is rare to find a thorough professional like Anushka,” says the yesteryear dream girl, who is now a busy politician. The friendship between Khushboo and Anushka dates back to many years, as the former was the producer of the latter’s first film in Tamil, Madhavan starrer ‘Rendu’. Kushboo’s husband Sundar C was the director of the movie.
“We were shooting in an island for Rendu when the costume which was meant for Anushka did not fit her. She was not at all bothered about it and gave us full co-operation by wearing dresses whatever were available in that small place,” Khushboo says.
She adds: “In a song sequence, she had to hide her whole body inside the sand. She patiently acted for many hours without even a small complaint. She would take each and everything positive and this is a very rare quality.”
