Speaking about the movie, Maiyur Srinivas says, ‘Mithivedi is about landmine issues in neighbouring island nation. The film is a thriller along the lines of world cinema like an Iranian or European film that focuses more on thematic issues rather than on commercial values’.
The subject matter is about the devastating effects of the landmines.
On his part Daniel Balaji, says, ‘after listening to the script, which was unbiased, I readily agreed to do the project.’
