Poda Podi almost Done

Simbu‘s long pending ‘Poda Podi‘ that went on floors in 2009 is nearing its completion. The team will be leaving to Macau for a ten-day schedule that includes a song shoot and with it the shooting of this dance musical will be wrapped.
The dance musical is helmed with Vignesh Shivan who recently came up with an explanation for the film’s delay. ‘Poda Podi is a film that sees Simbu and Varalakshmi in three phases of life. Thus this film of course takes more time to wrap than usual flicks. The film is entirely being shot in London and we require to shoot it only during a particular season as the script demands it’, says Vignesh.
The helmer also vouches that ‘Poda Podi‘ will rise Simbu to superstardom. The film marks the debut of Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in Tamil cinema and has Shobana in a pivotal role. Music is by Dharan and a teaser from the film, ‘Love panlama venama…’ is already popular.
Post this Simbu has gangster flick ‘Vettai Mannan’ and a project with director Vetrimaaran apart from his international music album Love Anthem For World Peace of course.
