When she was barely a teenager, Tamanna had done a Hindi film titled Chand Se Roshan Chehra way back in the year 2005. Now, the 22-year old has crossed several milestones in the intervening period of seven years. She has made a name for herself in Tamil and Telugu film industries and id actually one of the top actresses in both these languages.
Of late, though, Tamanna appears to be concentrating mainly on Telugu films. She has the big-budget Rachcha opposite Ram Charan Teja getting ready to release in theatres shortly. The film is even being dubbed in Tamil as Ragalai thanks to Tammu’s popularity in Tamil Nadu. She also has a couple of biggies on her hands in Telugu and is the frontrunner to pair up opposite megastar Chiranjeevi in his proposed landmark 150th film. She also has been cast as heroine opposite Pawan Kalyan (younger sibling of Chiranjeevi) in his upcoming film to be directed by Puri Jagannath.
She would soon be debuting in Hindi films as a ‘formal heroine’, forgetting the 2005 film she did which got ‘buried’ at the box-office. Reports say that she is on the verge of signing a film to be directed by Sajid Khan which is expected to go to the floors later this year. Sajid Khan, as readers are aware, has directed many popular Hindi films. Sajid’s upcoming film would be Houseful-2 which would release next month.
Bollywood is not an alien territory to her by any stretch of imagination. Unlike in Tamil and Telugu, she is well-versed with the language. With a million-dollar smile, a pretty face and an hour-glass figure to boot, Tamanna is sure to make it to the top in Hindi in a few months’ time from now!
