Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya – Movie Review

Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, starring the newly wed couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'souza is sure to bring smile on your face. Whether it is comedy, on-screen chemistry between the lead actors or the screenplay – Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya doesn't disappoint you at all.
Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, directed by Mandeep Kumar is one of those 'feel good movies' that you would love to watch on a lazy weekend! The film is not too predictable either, which often is the case with romantic films.
We have seen that in the past 'real life' couples fail to create the on-screen chemistry that they might have off-screen. However, Riteish and Genelia look beautiful together off-screen and on-screen as well. Though the two have been paired opposite each other before in Tujhe Meri Kasam and Masti, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya is undoubtedly their best outing together.

Mandeep Kumar has done a splendid job by getting the best out of the two talented actors. Though Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya starts of well, it dips in the second half. The narrative gets a bit boring. However, the pre-climax and the finale of the movie is outstanding.
The writer fails to hold the interest of the audience consistently. Though the humour in Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya seems forced at times, you have to give due credit to the director for the effort he has put in. In fact, there are ample scenes which are extremely funny and seem like it's been taken 'straight out of life'!
One tends to get lost in the lush green scenic beauty that has been brilliantly captured by the cinematographer. Music by Sachin-Jigar is good. The song 'Piya O Re Piya' is nice to hear.
Story
Bhatti (Tinnu Anand) is an extremely rich man who chooses a guy for his daughter named Mini (Genelia Deshmukh) to marry. Meanwhile, Viren (Riteish Deshmukh) is of the opinion that Bhatti has cheated him of his hard earned money and confronts him in an intoxicated state. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Mini runs away with Viren, making it all seem like one big kidnap story. Slowly, but surely the two fall in love with each other.

Performance
Riteish Deshmukh is outstanding. He has struck the right chord by underplaying his character. He seems extremely level headed and has done an extremely convincing job. Genelia D'souza with her sheer vivaciousness and exuberance has helped raise the level of the film. As mentioned earlier, the chemistry that Genelia and Riteish share in the film is stupendous – a beautiful jodi! Om Puri and Tinu Anand are wonderful, and so is Smitha Jaykar.
Overall, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya is a movie worth watching. Don't miss it!
