Aishwarya Rai is going to Cannes to attend the Film festival with Beti B. Aishwarya Rai is attending the Cannes Film Festival for the past ten years as the global face of L’Oreal. This year Aishwarya Rai is not promoting any film.
Aishwarya Rai attended the Cannes Film Festival for the first time in 2002 for her movie Devdas. Aishwarya Rai dazzled everyone with her mustard colored saree arriving in a carriage. Since then Aishwarya Rai has not missed any the Cannes Film Festival. Even when she was just married to Abhishek Bachchan and honeymooning in Europe, they both took a break from their honeymoon and attended the Cannes Film Festival. It seems this time too, Aishwarya Rai might go to Cannes with her daughter to attend the Film Festival. If this happens, it will be Beti B’s second trip to a foreign land. She has already traveled to Dubai with her mother. Along with Aishwarya Rai, it is being said that Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu too will be attending the Cannes Film Festival. Arjun Rampal is representing a liquor brand Chivas, which is the official partner for the event.
Kareena Kapoor too is making her debut at Cannes Film Festival where special screening of her film “Heroine” will be held. It is interesting to note that earlier Aishwarya Rai is doing the lead role in Heroine. Another interesting co-incidence is that Madhur Bhandarkar has announced about his ambitious project Heroine with Aishwarya Rai in Cannes itself, last year. But later on, her pregnancy news had come into light and Aishwarya Rai left “Heroine.” Madhur Bhandarkar felt quite depressed after knowing this news.
Bipasha Basu too has debuted in Hollywood with Josh Hartnett, Singularity. Bipasha Basu will be at Cannes Film Festival promoting her Hollywood movie Singularity.
Aishwarya rai is supposed to travel with her mother, Beti B, her daughter’s nanny and her PR manager.
