Amitabh Bachchan is trying to get Katy Perry’s autograph for his grand daughter, Navya Naveli. Interestingly, Mr Amitabh Bachchan himself is not a big fan of international pop star, who performed at the inauguration ceremony of fifth edition of IPL cricket tournament, which was hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
In fact, the Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan hadn’t even heard about the international pop star sometimes before he left for Chennai to host the inauguration ceremony of the IPL. Mr. Amitabh Bachchan had to seek Katy Perry’s autograph only after his grand daughter Navya Naveli insisted that he should seek the autograph of the international pop star, when she came to know that she performed in Chennai.
Mr. Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, “The grand daughter has a fancy for the singer Katy Perry. I hope I have her name correct. She had performed along with several others at the opening of the IPL last night, and now Navya wants her autograph since she loves her. So efforts are on to make that happen!!”
Mr. Amitabh Bachchan said that there was a time when he the likes of him listened to the music of Beatles. Even today he cherishes the music of Beatles when one of his friends gave him a Beatles collection during the days when he was in hospital recently. But his grandchildren like Navya do not understand the music of Beatles and appreciate the music of contemporary pop stars like Katy Perry and want her autograph.
Amitabh Bachchan is not different from other grandfathers. He too likes to pamper his grandchildren. Hopefully, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan can get one for his grand daughter.
