Censor Board objects to Rowdy Rathore trailer and beeps dialogue in Rowdy Rathore trailer. The Censor Board has acted hard on Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Rowdy Rathore and apart from giving it a U/A certificate; it has beeped a dialogue in the first promo of the film.
A source in UTV movies, the production company which is making the film said, “The decision to beep a dialogue in the film was taken by the Censor Board and we had nothing to do with it. But we are complete okay with the decision and are going to proceed with the promo that we had originally planned despite the beep of the dialogue.”
But what the production house is hoping for is that the beep sound is only in the promo of the film and the dialogue will not be cut in the theatre. With the film getting a U/A certificate, the production house feels that there will not be no need to make any changes in the film when it releases at the theatres.
The Censor Board is being very strict with the promos of the films these days. Before Rowdy Rathore, they had also raised objections to the promo of Karan Johar’s Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, which along with disappointing the producer, did not allow him to air that particular promo on Television.
With the changes in the promos of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and Rowdy Rathore, the censor board has indicated that not everything can be allowed to go on Television. The producers will have to be more careful with the promos from now on.
