A top terrorist organization Indian Mujahideen (IM) Chief has got a passport issued for himself by the name of Shahrukh Khan from Ranchi. Riyaz Bhatkal is Indian Mujahideen (IM) Chief and he has got several passports by several names. He has got one in Shahrukh Khan’s name.
The Ranchi passport of the Riyaz Bhatkal as Shahrukh Khan has forced Interpol to issue a red-corner notice across the major airports around the world. This red-corner notice resulted in the detention of Shahrukh Khan at the New York Airport. Immigration authorities detained Shahrukh Khan for about two hours for questioning.
Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan was detained at New York Airport due to this notice. A source told a leading English daily, “The Intelligence Bureau had flashed an alert to airports across the globe about Riyaz Bhatkal carrying a passport with the alias of Shah Rukh Khan.” Unfortunately Bollywood star got caught in this web without any fault of his.
It is being said that everytime Riyaz Bhatkal travels he uses a different passport with a different name. Shahrukh khan’s detention created a furor in India. Indian Foreign Minister directed Indian Ambassadress Nirupama Rao to take up the matter with USA Consulate. Though US authorities issued an apology about Shahrukh Khan’s detention but still the matter was brewing in MEA office.
Bollywood also came is support of Shahrukh Khan. Several Bollywood heavyweights registered their strong protest on their twitter account. US officials also denied racial profiling over Shahrukh Khan’s detention. Shahrukh Khan himself made light of his detention at the US Airport. He was scheduled to deliver a lecture at Yale University. Yale University officials too intervened in this matter.
