In recent times, plagiarism and copyright issues have almost become a trend in Bollywood. Mahesh Bhatt's upcoming film Jannat 2 has been entrapped in a legal issue after a Mumbai-based writer Kapil Chopra allegedly filed a case against the Bhatts for plagiarism.
Chopra also demanded credit as a story writer since Jannat 2 is originally his story. It has been reported that when Kapil initially saw the promos of the film, he realised that it was his story. In fact, he also alleged that the characters, plot and the dialogues too are same as that of his script.
Kapil further accused the Bhatts for stealing a few scenes from his script in Blood Money and Murder 2. But, the writer had earlier ignored it. Now that the Bhatts have stolen the entire script, Chopra has decided to pounce on the former by dragging them to the court.
