The Tamil version of Dammu, titled Singa Magan, was supposed to have hit the screens in Tamil Nadu today.
Unfortunately, the film could not make it as it has not been censored yet. There were plans for simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil, but the Tamil version could not be released due to the above mentioned reason.
Dammu stars Junior NTR, Trisha and Karthika Nair in the lead roles. There were expectations among Trisha’s fans that at least a dubbed version of her film would release on her birthday but it has turned out to be a disappointment.
Industry sources say that Dammu may be released next week and work is in progress to make it possible. In the meantime, the Telugu version is doing well and the box office collections bears testimony to this fact.
