“Chattakkari” would arrive only on Onam or after Onam.
According to the producer Suresh Kumar, there isn’t a theater
available now. After checking the big releases on Onam, the releasing
date will be finalised”.
‘Chattakkari’ is the remake of K. S. Sethumadhavan directed 1974 film
by the same name based on Pamman’s famous novel. It is a love story of
an Anglo-Indian girl and a Hindu boy.
Under the banner of Revathy Kalamandir, the new Chattakkari is
directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan’s son – Santosh Sethumadhavan. Hemanth
Menon and Shamna Kasim do the lead roles and rest of the cast includes
HariKrishnan, Innocent, Sukumari, and Suvarna.
