The Indrajith starrer Mullamottum Munthiricharum happens to be the only Malayalam release for this weekend.
In fact the film got released in
most theatres on Jul 12 and will soon reach more centres today. The
release of the high profile Ajith movie Billa 2 is certainly one of the
major reasons for Malayalam films to stay away for a while.
The popularity of Tamil films has been huge in Kerala and Billa 2 is
expected to create quite a storm in the state as well, with a huge fan
following for Ajith in Malayalam.
The Bollywood release for the week
is Cocktail, directed by the Being Cyrus director Homi Adajania,
starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty.
Mullamottum Munthiricharum has been
directed by debutant director Aneesh Anwar and has Indrajith, Thilakan,
Meghna Raj and Ananya in the lead.
