"Pranayam" is Copycat -Australian film ‘Innocence’

Actor Salim Kumar lashed at the state film awards announced here recently. He said Pranayam adjudged the best film of 2011 is a copy of the Australian film ‘Innocence’. Giving award to such a film was wrong and will approach the court against it, he said.

Salimkumar who is planning to approach the high court states that this award is largely against the law, which asks for original works.Salimkumar is also against the Chalachithra Academy which didn't present his documentary titled 'Pokaali' before the awards committee.
