At last, ‘milky beauty’ Tamanna has landed back in Kollywood. Ever since the release of her Venghai opposite Dhanush during the middle of last year, the actress had gone to Tollywood to take up and complete her Telugu film assignments. She is extremely delighted that her Rachcha opposite Ram Charan Teja, which released last week, has been going great guns.
She had been in Chennai recently to take pare in the press-meet held in connection with the release of her upcoming Tamil film titled Yenendraal Kaadhal Enbaen (YKE). The press-meet in connection with the film, which is made bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, had the dazzling Tamanna’s presence at the Green Park Hotel in Vadapalani. Taking everybody by surprise, she spoke in fluent and flawless Tamil, putting to shame many Tamil actresses who continue to surive in ‘dubbed voices’.
She started to speak in a very nice manner. “The moment I landed up at Chennai Airport, I could feel the gentle breeze which gave me ample hint of the love and affection fans here have for me. If I’m able to speak in Tamil to some extent, directors Lingusamy, Balaji Sakthivel and Karunakaran are wholly responsible. I learnt a lot from Ram, the hero of the film,” she concluded.
The meet witnessed the presence of Ram, directors Lingusamy, A.R Murugadoss, Balaji Sakthivel, Sasi, Saravanan, Stanley and Karunakaran, producers Ravi Kishore and Dhananjeyan, music director G.V. Prakash Kumar, lyricist Madan and many others. The highlight of the evening was the spotless manner in which popular PRO Nikhil Murugan hosted the show.
