Madhavan under the direction of Tamil cinema director Sundar. The movie Rendu was completely a comedy based movie and most importance of the story line of this movie was focusing on comedy. In this movie, Anushka was shown as an angel, shining in the songs sequences and acting with Maadhavan and the comedy actors. In this first movie of Anushka in Tamil, the song, mobile Mobila got a great hit.
Then Anushka went back strongly to Telugu industry and acted consecutively 11 movies, including Arundhadhi in which the nice acting performance of Anushka took place and the same movie was dubbed in Tamil language too.
