Music director Harris Jayaraj currently is currently composing for some of the most expected films of the year including ‘Maatraan‘, ‘Irandam Ulagam‘, ‘Thuppaki‘ and many more biggies.
Speaking on the status of ‘Maatraan‘ he says, “85% of Maatraan music is over. In a month’s time, I will be completing the rest of the work and in about 45 days, the audio would be ready for release. Maatraan composition was done in 6 countries. We were going on a cruise and the ship used to touch many countries in its journey and it was mostly along the Mediterranean Sea. And the idea was entirely KV Anand‘s. We finished 3 songs in 7 days!”
‘Maatraan‘ features Surya and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles. It brings back the hit combo of ‘Ayan‘, that is to say, KV Anand – Harris Jayaraj – Surya.
Speaking on ‘Irandam Ulagam‘ he says, “After a long time, I am working with Vairamuthu sir. Irandam Ulagam will be a musical treat for all music lovers. We have six songs with good lyrics and it is getting better day by day and we are all excited about the project”.
