After a successful Neelathamara and Rathinirvedam, G Suresh Kumar of Revath Kalamandir is remaking Chattakkarim the 1974 hit which shot to fame overnight with Lakshmi’s sensous Anglo-Indian role. The film which was directed by KS Sethumadhavan will be reshot by his son Santhosh Sethumadhavan. Chattakkari had a Hindi remake as Julie in 1975 and won Lakshmi, the film fare award. Written by the ever erotic writer of Malayala, Pamman and scripted by Thoppil Bhasi, the story is about an Anglo Indian girl, Julie and her love life.
