Gautham Menon's Adhyayam Ondru’ -Vijay
- Ace director Gautham Menon is presently shooting for the final stages of his upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual Neethanae En Ponvasantham (NEP). The film, which has Samantha as the heroine in both the versions, has her pairing up opposite Jeeva and Naani for the Tamil and Telugu versions respectively.
- Maestro Ilaiyaraja‘s music in this film has already created huge buzz and excitement amid his fans and music-lovers.
- Late last year, Gautham Menon announced that he’d be making Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru with Vijay playing the lead role of a detective. The promotional posters of the film showed Vijay in a pensive mood amid the backdrop of skyscrapers in New York.
- It was announced at that time that the film’s shoot would start next year (2012) and as expected, Gautham Menon has not revealed that the shoot of the film would commence in July.
- Vijay, who has almost completed the shoot of his upcoming film Thuppaki directed by AR Murugadoss, is likely to be ready for Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru by the first week of July.
- As Gautham Menon and Vijay were busy with their respective projects for the past few months, a question mark hung over the launch of Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru which has now been cleared by Gautham Menon himself who has said that the shoot would begin in July.“I’m sure my film Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru would be very different in films of action genre. It’d please everyone and would be starting soon,” said Gautham Menon. At the same time, Menon is also producing Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum under his production house Photon Kathaas which would be directed by debutant Prem Sai and star Richa Gangopadhyay and Jai in lead roles.
