Missing Bollywood Actress dead- Jammu police

Missing Bollywood starlet Laila Khan is dead, the Jammu and Kashmir police has recently confirmed. The Pakistan-born bollywood actress, who was said to be linked to terrorists, had been missing for a year.Investigations were on after her car was found in J&K. According to the police, Laila Khan was married to a man who was close to India’s most wanted don, Dawood Ibrahim. Laila Khan had starred in Bollywood film Wafaa with veteran actor Rajesh Khanna.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police is likely to visit Mumbai to probe the alleged murder of missing Bollywood starlet Laila Khan. This came after the police said that Laila Khan and her family members were killed in Mumbai.
Garib Das, DIG Doda Ramban range, said, “The police are looking at the possibility of Laila Khan and her family members being killed in Mumbai. The police are likely to visit Mumbai for further investigation in the case.”

The police’s statement came on the basis of the alleged confessions of Pervez Ahmed Tak, who was arrested recently by the state’s police. The J&K police want to further investigate the case. Meanwhile, a team from the Mumbai crime branch is in Jammu and Kashmir to seek the custody of Pervez Tak. The Mumbai Police began its own investigation on Wednesday.

Earlier, Tak had reportedly said that Laila married a close aide of India’s most wanted fugitive Dawood Ibrahim.
Pakistan-born Bollywood starlet Laila Khan went missing with her family about an year ago, from a shop in Kishtwar town on May 29.

The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) had been looking for the actor and her family including the mother who reportedly left Mumbai for Kishtwar with one Ateeq Khan, a Kashmiri, to attend a wedding. The family was reportedly missing ever since.

Laila’s father, Nadir Shah Patel, had filed a complaint at a Mumbai police station stating that his daughter has gone missing along with her mother Saleena Patel, sister Azmina Patel, her stepfather Asif Sheikh and family friend Pervez Iqbal Tak.
Laila Khan aka Sara had debuted opposite Rajesh Khanna in film Wafaa in 2008. Rakhi Sawant’s director brother Rakesh had launched Laila in Wafaa.
