Is Sunny Leone’s Jism 2 title track inspired or copied from the
Turkish track? Jism 2′s erotic title track, featuring Sunny Leone
getting intimate with Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh, is apparently
inspired from a Turkish number. The two contenders for it are Kayahan’s
Bizimkisi Bir Ask Hikayesi and Bengu’s Unut Beni.
Kayahan and Bengu Erden are Turkish pop singers and have many bestselling albums to their credit.
Composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee, the Jism song has vocals by Ali Azmat and lyrics by Arko Pravo Mukherjee and Munish Makhija. Arko denied the reports to a daily: “Every composer is inspired. There is no copyright to folk songs like Dama Dam Mast Kalandar. That’s why we get so many versions of it. There are some West Asian tunes that have a generic melody. I have heard a lot of such tunes that could have inspired me both consciously or subconsciously. The opening melodies of many Turkish songs are similar. In fact, some of my friends have told me that they have come across at least four songs with similar opening melodies as that of Yeh Jism. I still feel people ought to hear my song in totality before jumping the gun.”
The erotic thriller revolves around a porn star (Sunny), who is hired by a dashing intelligence officer (Arunoday) to become a honey-trap for a dreaded assassin (Randeep). In doing so, she not only has to confront her bitter-sweet past, but is also forced to make an impossible choice – one that will put her own life in double jeopardy.

Sunny Leone on her character: “There are a lot of aspects in me that are similar to the character I’m portraying on screen. She is a very complex person with different shades. There is a huge sense of loss this character goes through, and I believe that most women and men have gone through this whether in relationships or family. My character is trying to find her way, the right way, but goes through a lot in her mind to figure it out.”
Jism 2 is a sequel to 2003 flick Jism which had John Abraham and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles.
The film is slated for August 3 release.
